I don't think anyone has backed him from day one. I doubt there will be anyone that wants him to stay and that would have been their consistent opinion.

I don't mind him staying, although I'd prefer to move on as I think we can attract better now.

Served his purpose and done alright for us overall.

The scary thing will be if there are any of his angels still around. They will be hoping we go down next season just so they can recycle their "look at Blackburn now" and "look at Newcastle now" bullshit.

Luckily we have had a season where BFS's cancerous buying policy has been shelved so the next man might actually have some assets to work with.

North - I wouldn't say I want him to stay, but unless we can find better (and by that I mean better CV - not some punt on a fresh face flavour of the month) I don't think changing for the sake of it will likely do us any good.

Same as when Harry and Zola both got tinned.

Not sure I trust G&S to be honest, but if the have been sounding out managers and had a decent response I'd quite happily see Allardyce go now, with an interim for the rest of the season.
